Android Nougat 7.0 available for Nexus devices

Google has just activated Android Nougat 7.0

 

It was expected for the end of august, all the rumors pointed out that it would be officially launched soon; and finally it’s here. Well at least the first sign of it. Google has just activated Android Nougat 7.0 official website, in order to discover all the functionalities present in the new operating system.

There’s not much time left for Android Nougat release, after Android’s previews that have been perfecting the system until getting one of the most advanced versions, it will be available soon for many lucky ones. Starting up for those with the LG V20: this fact was confirmed by Google, it will be the first smartphone with Android Nougat 7.0 integrated.

Android Nougat is a big step compared with Android Marshmallow. Considering the multi-window view and also for the adaptation of the system to native desktop environment; these aspects will be a benefit for the tablets. Besides options like quick switch between apps or the native virtual reality with DayDream; this last one for smartphones.

The effort for optimize the autonomy is also notorious, Doze improves with a better adaptation to surroundings in movement. Although, with the first version we already saw substantial changes related to battery management, now Doze on the Go will optimize apps performance while carrying the mobile in our pockets.

Better notifications, direct reply from them, change of screen’s density… and more security, something in what Google makes special emphasis with Android Nougat 7.0

Nougat will be available for Nexus 6, 6P, 5x, Pixel C and Nexus 9

Today will be available the download to update new Nexus mobiles. That means Nexus 6, 6P, 5x, Pixel C, and Nexus tablets. Unfortunately, as it was supposed the Nexus 5 will not receive its Android Nougat update, according to Google.
