As we all have heard Apple is leaving behind the headphone jack while launching the new AirPods. This new wireless headset will connect with Bluetooth, but in order to use your old headphones the new iPhones will come with an adapter, and still include a pair of Lightning-compatible, wired EarPods. In case of losing this adapter, it would be available in the Apple Store for $9.
This is an excellent news in case you don’t want to quit on your favorite headphones or if you don’t have the money on hand to buy the new AirPods, which by the way will have a cost of $159.
It is a simple and efficient solution including the Lightning-to-3.5mm adapter in the box; however, it may be somewhat annoying having to carrying it everywhere. Also, the lighting adapter prevents us from charging the iPhone 7 while having the headphones plugged in.
Still, once again Apple offers us several innovations and new experiences while using its devices.
